My name is Kagan and I live in Ankara, Turkey. I have been in the aquarium hobby since 1993. I had lots of experience with most cichlid types and some catfishes. Since 2000 I have been fighting with the "King of the Aquarium", Discus. In addition, I have been into breeding of this great fish since june, 2003.
In this site you will not only find some discus photos from my tank and friends'; but also some of the deadly principles starting from the selecting of a healthy and quality discus to the breeding and growing of your babies...
After a long pause, I have just bought my first wilds from Hustinx Aquaristiek / Belgium (March 2008). At the moment 5 Nhamunda Heckels and 7 Curiperas are in my tank. In addiiton, my pair is waiting for these guys to get into shape ;)
